Our Doctor Susan Anderson DAR Chapter marched in the annual Arvada Harvest Festival Parade today!
The parade theme was “Honoring our Heroes- Red, White, & Blue”.
Our chapter members toured the Arvada Flour Mill today, led by the Arvada Historical Society.

we celebrated National Ice Cream Day!
The Leyden Memorial Marker & DAR Commemoration Bench Cleanup in June 2024. Chapter members gathered to cleanup the grounds and the marker and bench itself.
Memorial Day Ceremony May 27, 2024 at the Arvada Cemetery. The Doctor Susan Anderson Chapter members and the Cannonball Creek Society of the Children of the American Revolution placed wreaths at the ceremony hosted by the Arvada American Legion Post 161, and included the Arvada VFW Post 4331 and the auxiliary organizations.
